Time for another update, I'd say. I'm back in Åbo/Turku, studying as usual. But not really. This fall is proving to be a lot more challenging than I thought it would be. I've got a lot of things on my plate at the moment. For the first (what is it...?) five weekends of the autumn term, I'm supposed to go home to Pampas. Subsequently.
My second weekend has just passed. The first one was because of the regular choir weekend, and it was awesome. I really do love singing in that choir! Last weekend, the second, I was home for a bachelorette party and a wedding (not the same bride, though) and that was a blast, too. This weekend I'm going home for another wedding (with the bride-to-be from the earlier mentioned bachelorette party) and I'm supposed to be the... toast master of some kind on that one. I'm actually a bit nervous about all that, but I don't have time to worry about that at present. You see, tomorrow I have my first exam of the year. On the history of the Church. The people I've talked to say it's kind of a piece of cake. But if you add to that a heavy work load of tutorial tasks for tomorrow as well, it's not that simple anymore.
So why am I sitting here instead of working on those tasks, you might ask? Well, I'm stupid! And I need to get my mind off things from time to time, and what could be more therapeutic than writing a blog, right? It gives me comfort. And it puts a new perspective on things. I'm really doing quite well in life, aren't I, if these are my biggest worries.
So here's to that, and a job well done of cheering myself up!
